The LOOP

LARAC's quarterly magazine. The latest LOOP was issue twenty-one entitled: New Strategies, New Directions - LARAC Conference 2007, and gave a Conference overview, interviewed LARAC Chair Lee Marshall, and looked at Trade Waste Collections, Recycling and Climatic Change

Networking
LARAC provides a network of contacts to facilitate information sharing and support for local authority recycling officers and facilitates national and regional conferences through the year.

Campaigning
LARAC aims to: Raise the profile of recycling and promote action to reduce waste; develop and support innovative ideas and promotions; support national and regional campaigns on recycling and waste reduction and provide informal and realistic view-points for the media.

Information provision
Our LARAC information network is a key aspect of the support provided to members and also includes an active role in training provision.


Advocacy
LARAC aims to be the credible voice for local government concerns on on waste and recycling.
