The programme
The event will explore approaches to food waste behaviour change, with a UK perspective from Resource London and a European perspective from Brussels Environment. Representatives from Sainsbury’s will discuss the role of supermarkets in reducing household food waste whilst representatives from Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund will make links between food waste prevention and surplus food redistribution in the UK. The full programme will be available soon.
The afternoon workshop, namely ‘Planning a food waste prevention programme: priorities, actions and monitoring based on the 4E model’ will be facilitated by Ricardo AEA and will put learnings from the morning session into practice.
