Environment Agency Wales is in a special position - it is an Assembly Sponsored Public Body (ASPB), while also being part of the corporate Environment Agency for England and Wales.

Environment Minister, John Griffiths has congratulated the people of Wales on their success in recycling a record breaking 49% of their waste between July and September 2011.
