Derby City Council and Derbyshire County Council are developing an exciting joint residual waste management contract. The competitive dialogue for this £1,000 million contract is coming to a close. We want to appoint an experienced and successful Project and Contract Manager to lead the City Council’s team in the negotiations.

You will co-ordinate financial, legal and technical aspects. Once the contract is awarded your role will change and you will act as Contract Manager for contracts representing the City Council’s interests. In addition you will manage the City Council’s waste disposal and other contracts. You must have strong project, contract and financial management skills as well as direct experience of waste management. You must have delivered complex high value projects whilst achieving delivery on time and value for money.
