Durham County Council, a four-star Authority based in the North-East of England , is through its Project Phoenix reviewing its current arrangements in relation to Waste Disposal.  A Strategic Business Case has just been completed and a Project Manager is now required to identify, develop and deliver the preferred option from Outline Business Case through to, if appropriate, procurement of a new contract.

You will be highly motivated, able to establish positive relationships and possess the ability to respond constructively to changing demands while achieving performance targets and delivering a quality service. With experience of leading and managing significant projects involving complex forms of procurement, budgeting, performance management and development of strategy and policy.
