Description: This leading Waste Management Company runs a prestigious contract in the West Country and requires a Recycling and Business Development Assistant. The role will support a Recycling and Business Development Manager and will be responsible for dealing with reports and statistical information as well as dealing with the general public and other stakeholders. The role will focus on developing recycling within the contract and will therefore provide excellent exposure to interesting recycling initiatives within both the municipal and industrial areas of the contract. Description: A leading provider of street scene services requires a Managing Director for a contract in London. The key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating the managers and supervisors to ensure that the crews are performing at their very best;

Position: Principal Consultant

Description: We are working with a leading Consultancy who require a Principal Consultant to increase their capability to deliver technical consultancy to local authorities and waste management companies in
Wales
and across the
UK
. A key objective of the communities division within the Consultancy is to secure work within this identified niche market. Major roles will include waste strategy and procurement support to regionally significant waste management partnerships. Your key responsibilities will be:
· Developing waste related work in
Wales
linked to strategy and infrastructure projects.
· Contributing to consultant activities across
UK
and European offices for waste related projects.
· Joining the internal Strategic Waste Management Group and assist in identifying key areas for development. Assist in achieving key objectives by working in close liaison with other specialists around the
UK
.
· Assisting with marketing and business development activities.
· Assisting with the recruitment of staff in
Wales
to expand the regional capability
· Management of overseas projects when opportunities arise.
· Management of junior staff (as size of team increases) and projects.
· Technical training of staff as required.
· Deputising for senior staff, possibly those from other offices, as required.
· Other business and project related tasks that may be required but not outlined above.
Candidates must have experience of contracting by the public sector. This should include experience of writing proposals, technical reports and contract documentation. Ideally candidates should have a minimum of 7 years' consultancy experience. You will have well developed interpersonal skills, allowing you to develop strong working relationships with staff and clients and must be able to deliver projects as part of a small team. Ref: N4276
